Setting up your email account on your IPhone:

I don't have an IPhone myself...but several of my clients do.  I have enough toys! :)

You can set up your email using ITunes which will synchronize your email settings as you have them set up on your PC or you can add an additional account manually on your phone.

Here are the steps to seeting up a POP3 email account on your phone

• Click "Settings" on your device
• Choose "Mail, Contacts, Calendars"
• Choose "Add Account"
• In the options for emails, choose "Other"
• Type in your name, then your email address.  Add the password assigned to your email address. The next field is "description" which will already be filled in
• Clich "Save"
• The next screen will have "IMAP" highlighted.  Choose "POP"
• In the next screen scroll down and under “INCOMING MAIL SERVER” type in incoming server address in the field labeled host name (might be mail.yourdomain.com or whatever has been assigned.  The next field is "User Name".  This is the user name of your email account...most often the complete email address. The password field should already filled in
• Under “OUTGOING MAIL SERVER”, type in outgoing server address in the box labeled "host name: (Often this is the same as the incoming).  The next fields are "User Name" and "Password" and should be already marked “OPTIONAL”…don’t fill that in
• Click "SAVE"
• The next window will show a message “SECURE CONNECTION FAILED.. the certificate blah blah blah…. “ HIT CONTINUE
• Next popup will say "CANNONT CONNECT USING SSL…..: Hit YES (You want to set up account without SSL)
• Your phone will then verify account information and then everything will check off.
